Mermaid Cruises was established in 2004 and is the oldest continuously operating boat tour company in the region.

To ensure the high quality of our cruises and comfort of our guests, we are a hands-on, ecologically aware and self-sufficient company providing all our services through our own local full-time staff.
Our personnel includes 3 highly experienced, full-time qualified captains/crew and 2 resident cooks.

We offer four primary cruises on various vessels in our fleet.

SunCat1 (above right) - Our new flagship is a magnificent solar and wind-powered catamaran built and designed by ourselves and is the first of its kind in the world. SunCat1 has a large bar, lounge seating, Jacuzzi, water slide, diving board, top-quality audiovisual system, LED lighting and plenty of room for partying.

The Peacock (below left) - We also still run day tours on the "Peacock", a comprehensively equipped, 70 foot traditional teak-built Thai pleasure boat.

Mermaid Cruises is the only operator to also offer the possibility of visiting the Phraya Nakhon Cave as part of this day cruise at no additional cost.

Kingfisher (below right) - The world’s first electrically powered long-tail passenger boat, built to Mermaid Cruises’ own concept and specifications. Enjoy relaxing tours to the mangroves and along the Pranburi River in total silence, admiring the local flora and fauna.

Firefly (left) - Our latest all-electric boat takes you on a quiet, breathtaking, romantic tour through the Amphawa floating market to see the thousands of fireflies.
